Banner

Banners are great ways to add identity to a landing page such as department pages. The banner component allows you to add a full width image automatically cropped at about 350px tall by 1600px wide (on desktop), and an optional title which often is used to add the name of the section the page is for. For example: Department name, Chambers name, Topic name (PACTs, CM/ECF, etc.)

To ensure the title in the middle of the image is always readable regardless of how dark or light the image may be, a semi-transparent dark overlay is automatically added over the image and the text is always white.
